Garden Roofs

Roof gardens are an increasingly attractive proposition, to reduce the effects of urban heat islands, manage storm water runoff, provide new economic benefits through use of additional valuable space, create year-round energy efficiency and possibly qualify the building's owners for LEED points. As with any high-performance roofing system, garden roofs require careful planning and the use of quality materials, including EPDM membrane.

Because of its durability and waterproof characteristic (EPDM is often used as a pond liner), EPDM is an excellent choice to be part of a roof garden system.
