Continuing Education Programs
As the only national association dedicated to
the promotion of EPDM rubber membrane roofing materials, ERA is
pleased to offer technical presentations regarding new developments
in EPDM to construction industry groups around the country. If your

us. Presenters include top technical advisors from both Carlisle
SynTec and Firestone Building Products as well as ERA’s own
highly regarded Technical Consultant, Tom
Hutchinson. ERA has submitted numerous proposals to speak at
industry conferences and national conventions in 2003 and 2004.
To date, we have received confirmation to speak at the following
conferences: 2004 ICBEST, 2004 CIB World Building Conference, RCI
Region XI Meeting.
In addition, two of ERA’s most valuable
resources are the industry-related Continuing Education Programs
are offered by member companies; Carlisle SynTec and Firestone Building
Products. These programs offer participants accreditation opportunities
through the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Roofing
Consultants Institute (RCI). They are designed to provide a detailed
overview of the important considerations in the selection and design
of a quality commercial roofing system as well as increase awareness
of those essential factors that contribute to a long-term roofing
system.
